Our stay at the cabin was wonderful, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a family getaway. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, offering a lovely view of the nearby river. However, the lack of non-slip mats in the shower was concerning, and unfortunately, we had an emergency that impacted our visit. Overall, the property has great potential but could use some safety improvements.
I had a wonderful time staying at Idlewilde. The cozy, rustic cabins were perfect for relaxation, and the location right by the river was absolutely picturesque. The only downside was the inconsistent water pressure in the shower, which could be bothersome during a longer stay. Overall, it felt like a home away from home, and I would definitely return.
I had an incredible stay at this mountain retreat, perfectly positioned along the Big Thompson River and just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabins are clean, cozy, and well-equipped for a memorable experience. While the overall atmosphere is peaceful, I wish there were more dining options nearby. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time, and we definitely felt like we found a hidden gem in Estes Park.
My stay at Idlewilde by the River was simply fantastic. The cabin was cozy and offered an immersive experience right by the river, which created such a relaxing atmosphere. The managers, Wayne and Jody, truly made us feel at home with their hospitality. While I absolutely loved the experience, the cabins are quite basic, which may not suit everyone’s taste. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway for nature lovers with a few rustic downsides.
I had a wonderful stay at Idlewild, where the peaceful riverside setting allowed for a truly relaxing experience. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. While the location is perfect for accessing Rocky Mountain National Park, the lack of air conditioning and some minor maintenance issues were a bit of a letdown. Overall, it's a beautiful spot that I would highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in nature.
