Our stay at the cabin was wonderful, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a family getaway. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable, offering a lovely view of the nearby river. However, the lack of non-slip mats in the shower was concerning, and unfortunately, we had an emergency that impacted our visit. Overall, the property has great potential but could use some safety improvements.

I had a wonderful time staying at Idlewilde. The cozy, rustic cabins were perfect for relaxation, and the location right by the river was absolutely picturesque. I had an incredible stay at this mountain retreat, perfectly positioned along the Big Thompson River and just minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabins are clean, cozy, and well-equipped for a memorable experience. While the overall atmosphere is peaceful, I wish there were more dining options nearby. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time, and we definitely felt like we found a hidden gem in Estes Park.

The managers, Wayne and Jody, truly made us feel at home with their hospitality. While I absolutely loved the experience, the cabins are quite basic, which may not suit everyone's taste. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway for nature lovers with a few rustic downsides.
